If you don't choose to rehome with us, that's ok - there are many other great specialty kids preloved shops like Roundabub, Sprout and Swap and Dash Baby and Kids. Any time clothes end up in new homes instead of landfill is a win for our community!

Our Clothing Standards provide detailed information on what clean, unsoiled, odour and pet-hair free items we accept and the condition types for each item. We also update these from time to time. We find a good question to ask is - would you buy this item preloved? If not, they may not be suitable for Little Louie.

Each item has a brand, size and condition category added. While there are known brands many parents prefer, with preloved, we encourage you to judge the outfit by how it looks, rather than brand alone!

Brand:

• Premium: Think brands like Bonds, Seed, Sprout, Country Road, Jack and Milly, Soli, Lacey Lane
• Basics: Think brands like Baby Berry, Target, Anko, Dymples, H&M
• Unknown: Brand is missing, or overseas brand not commonly seen in Australia

Size:

Standard kids sizing protocols are used - Newborn, 0-3months, 3-6months, 6-12months, 1 (12-18months), 2 (18-24months), 3, 4, 5. However, sizing can vary between brands.

Condition:

• New: With tags
• Great: New without tags or like new used condition
• Good: Worn but still in good used condition; may include minor faults such as small stains, marks, pilling, fading or previous owner names.
• Play: Well-loved used condition with minor faults such as small stains, marks, pilling, or fading

Our Seasonal Edits are limited curated 'boxes' which contain a handful of items in a specific size for a specific season. Check the product details for more information on each item that is included.

No. Little Louie isn't a consignment service and doesn't currently offer exchanges through the online shop. Our clothing is sourced from the generosity of our Little Louie local community - mamas who want their kid's clothes to be loved and lived in by the next little people. Once we collect your kid's clothes, they become Little Louie's property. For eligible collections, you will receive a small thank you voucher to spend at our online shop. If you prefer to sell or exchange your kids clothes, we recommend using local kids clothes markets, Facebook Marketplace or the physical preloved kids shops that offer exchange services.

Not at the moment! However if you spend over $40 online and live in our local delivery zone, you can enjoy your purchases dropped to your home for free. Otherwise standard postage options are available.

We take a lot of pride in ensuring you have all the information you need on clothing brand, size and condition to minimise any disappointment when you receive an order. As our goods are preloved, we do our best to ensure goods are accurately described, in alignment with Australian Consumer Law. However we are only human, so if you feel we have missed the mark, we want to know. Contact Us so we can chat further and find a suitable resolution.

Little Louie works within the obligations and guarantees under Australian Consumer law. For preloved items, this is ensuring goods are as described. Unfortunately we don't offer order cancellations or exchanges. However if you have made a mistake and your order hasn't been prepared yet, we might be able to swap out an individual item for a different one, so Contact Us.

There is no limit on how often you can book a free collection, provided you meet the minimum item limit of 10 outlined in our Clothing Standards.

Little Louie is very deliberate about how, when and what clothing pick ups occur to minimise wastage and focus on rehoming clothes to new kids. When items are not suitable for other parents to purchase, Little Louie will assess community avenues that may benefit from these clothing instead (e.g. 'spares' at daycares) and textile recycling initiatives before resorting to landfill. Any soiled clothing ends up in landfill for hygiene reasons.
